Elko CHDF provides health and wellness programming available to all members of the broader Elko community. Our classes, events, and community partnerships are designed to give you the tools you need to be healthy and stay healthy.

Classes

Learn wellness strategies to benefit you and your family, build community with others who understand your health situation, and even develop skills that can save lives. CHDF’s provides ongoing health and wellness classes on topics like nutrition and diabetes management as well as single-day trainings teaching participants important skills like CPR, all staffed by experienced healthcare professionals. All CHDF classes offer free and low-cost options for attendance.

Events

At CHDF’s preventative care and wellness events, health is a party and everyone’s invited. Drop by to take advantage of free cancer screenings and other preventative care options, and stick around to enjoy a fun and friendly community atmosphere with health information and support to help you stay well. Take the opportunity to take care of yourself, and get connected to other resources for you and your family.

Community Partnerships

Wellness is the work of an entire community. CHDF partners with other businesses and non-profits in the greater Elko area to develop programming and create resources that promote community well-being. Our community partnerships create solutions to unmet needs affecting specific segments of the community, providing resources, education, or programming to solve community health and wellness needs.
